Samantha Culshaw-Robinson – Clinical Hypnotherapist

Samantha Culshaw-Robinson | Clinical HypnotherapistMy name is Samantha Culshaw-Robinson and I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist. My background is in further education. I used to teach IT, but it was always how people learned and how it helped them to achieve and make changes in their lives that fascinated me, rather than the computers.

My Reiki Journey

I first became interested in Reiki in 2004; I went for a treatment myself to help me when I was at a crossroads in my life. I initially trained as a Reiki healer in order to be able to treat family, friends, and myself but I found that I felt that I wanted to broaden my horizons so that I could also use reiki to help others too.

My Hypnotherapy Journey

Once I started researching into complementary therapies, this lead to my love of hypnotherapy. Everthing I read about it made sense and I now have over six years’ experience in practice.

I like to work in a facilitative way; clients are guided to make the changes in the way that they need using their subconscious mind. All the answers are there; I can help you find them.*

* As people are unique and are in individual situations, results vary case by case. Results proven for any issue are not a guarantee.

I am always learning too, as you can see. 2016 is the year to complete a Mindfulness Teacher training course… so that I can combine my skills in education and the workplace.

When I am not working I love to curl up with a good book and immerse myself as the story unfolds. I run three times a week, practice yoga and meditate regularly. These habits help me deal with the ups and downs that are real life. I love spending time with my family and friends too. I am an eternal student; my mind is happiest when learning new things. Although I am a holistic therapist (the mind and body are inseparable in my book); I truly believe in evidence-based treatment – as you can see from my recent MSc – and like to keep myself up to date with the latest research.
